Hello Everybody, 

 

My name is Jan-Jozef Beerens, my friends call me often JJ, I live in a village called Bergschenhoek, in the neighbourhood of Rotter-

dam. I am a history and social studies teacher at the Sint Laurenscollege in Rotterdam Hilligersberg in the Netherlands. I'm teaching and managing at the Sint Laurenscollege in Rotterdam for almost 18 years now. I enjoy reading English and Dutch history and science fiction books, to see many motion pictures and I love to play tennis and to watch soccer. My favourite club is Willem II from a town called Tilburg where I was born 48 years ago.

 

My pupils are also excited about this project.

Hello, My name is Bart, I’m 14 years old I live in a small nearby Rotterdam called Bleiswijk. I live there with my parents, two brothers and one sister. My brother Jelle is 12, My brother Olaf is 9 and my sister is 5. My favorite hobby’s are ice-skating and speed cycling, I do that a lot. The rest of the time I spend to relax: watching TV,  sitting at my computer to play games, listening to music or just do nothing.

 

Hello my name is Ronald, I’m 14 years old, and I live in the Netherlands, in Hillegersberg. One of my hobbys is badminton. I dont have brothers or sisters, what I really like sometimes. If I have nothing to do , I watch mostly TV, for example MTV, or I just play a computer game.

 Hello, My name is Mitchell. I was born on 19th March 1996 in Capelle aan de Ijssel in The Netherlands. My school is Sint Laurenscollege in Rotterdam that is also in The Netherlands I live also there. I am almost 13 years old now I’m still 12 years old. I have a lot of hobby’s some of them are playing soccer(I play with Leonidas D1) or watching it(My favorite team is Feyenoord) also I like to play Chess and do Teakwondo that’s a sort of Karate. I have also a lot of friends most of them are from my school. I also have a lot of pets: A dog, A parrot, 3 Turtles and a lot of fishes. My favorite pet is Reza that’s my dog. I have 3 brothers there names are Jessy and Nicky they are both 16 years old they are taking their exams for riding a scooter and my other brother Aron is 18 years old and he likes to hang around in our nabourhood. I like to eat a lot of Fast-Food especially Pizza and I like to go to the Mc Donalds to get hamburgers or chips. My favorite drink is Cola because it is so sweet. My favorite school subjects are Gym and Math’s. I have a good timetable at the moment.

Hi people!

We are Frederique and Chantal. We going to tell in a short letter about us.

Hay, my name is Frederique. I’m fourteen years old and I live in Rotterdam, Hillegersberg. That’s in the Netherlands. I was born on 21 October 1994 on Pijnacker. I moved to Hillegersberg when I was seven years old. I have two sisters: one is ten years old and her name is Julie. The other one is sixteen years old and her name is Eline. My parents are divorced and most of the time I lived by my mother in house.

My hobbies are acting, dancing and singing. I want to be a musical actrice. My favourite cities are Paris and LONDON! I’ve been in London for two times and it’s really amazing. I’ve been also two times in Paris, I love the city but I hate the language. I don’t have a boyfriend but I have a dog. It’s a girl but I really love her!

So that’s enough about me. My friend Chantal is going to tell something about herself.

 

 

Hallo, my name is Chantal (what my friend already told) I’m also fourteen years old and my birthday is on 1 December 1994. I live in Pijnacker since I was born. Frederique was a friend of mine since we met each other on the playground outside. She moved and I met her again on the Sint Laurens College (it’s our school).

My favourite hobbies are:

-       Snowboarding. I started with it this year and I like it! I practice every week with my team.

-       Skiing. I do it for seven years now and I was practiced every week with my team.. and later (when I’m sixteen) I want to be an ski-teacher.

-       Hockey. I do it for one and an half year now. I like my teammates and we have a lot fun together.

 

 

By the way, I have a little sister! Her name is Jacqueline and she is eleven years old. She’s like a friend for me. We told each other about: school, friends, boyfriends, shopping, parties, everything.

My dad died when I was seven years old. Now my mum had a new boyfriend. His name is Peter and lives with his three children in Delft. Next year I going to live there and I going to another school in Delft. 

 

 

Well, that were us in a short letter. Next time we tell more about our self, friends, family, school and the Netherlands.

I am 14 years old and I live in The Netherlands in Hillegersberg. My birthday is at 29-01-1995. My school is called the Laurens College, it’s a very nice school, I have a lot of friends here. My hobbies are dancing. I am an only child, sometimes that’s very boring,  but if I have homework to do, it’s nice and quiet. I don’t know what I want later, but interior seems pretty nice. My favorite school is French, I think that language is very beautiful, but English and German are also very nice. At school we have a lot of fun, and therefore, the teachers sometimes get angry at us. I like to go shopping with my friends in the city. We usually do that 1 time in a month.

We are Maaike, Jamilex and Annelie. We are three girls of 14 years old and we live in The Netherlands. Maaike loves skateboarding, Jamilex adores dancing ans she likes to play softball.

Annelie loves horse riding, she has two horses by the way.

The most we love about school is the vacation! We love the sun and we hate the rain.

Our school lessons are 50 minutes. We think that’s to long! Our favourite school lesson is gymnastics.

Hai, I am Lisette Zwaan and I live in The Netherlands in Rotterdam. I live in Nesselande, that’s a neighborhood in Rotterdam. I am 13 years old. I am sitting in my second year at Laurens College. I’ve got two little brothers, they are twins. They are 12 years old. My favorite sport is hockey. It’s a kind of football, but you don’t play with your feet but with a hockeystick. I am very good at it and love to do it. Another thing I love to do is dancing, and especially Streetdance. I love to party, music is making me crazy. I’ve got many friends, from school, hockey or from my neighborhood. I’ve got three friends from my hockey, we are the FLAD. They are my best friends, I do everything with them. We’re having sleep parties, shop days and every week we watch television together.
