Dear Learning circle participants,

My name is Galina Zalta. I am an EL  teacher at Riga Purvciems Secondar School. I like my job very much. I've been teaching since September 1993. I teach different ages, different groups. Besides General English I also teach Business English to adults.

I am married. I have a very nice and united family. There are four of us: my son Andris (a 12 year student aged 18), my husband Igor (an engineer), our cat Fix (black and pussy) and me.

We live in Riga in a big and comfortable flat on the 9th floor. We like watching the area from a bird's-eye view. In my spare time I like travelling, it's my favourite hobby. Meeting new people, knowing more about the other countries it is really exciting! Teaching and studying/learning are the things I like doing.

I am glad to take part in this project, it is something new and challenging . I am looking forward to hearing from you,

Best regards,

Galina Zalta,
