Teacher introduction

My name is Andreja Pinter and I'm an English and History teacher, but for the last two years I've been teaching only English. Before I came to this school I also taught adults and children aged 3 and 4. I like working with every age group but I really love working with teenagers. My students are no different than any other, so they would do anything just to get out of the classroom and away form the typical styles of  learning. I joined this learning circle because they could really use an experience of exchanging information with students from other countries. We will do this during our regular classes and at home.

Now to tell you something about myself. I used to be quite fond of sports (tennis, cycling, swimming) but since I've got a one-year old boy there is very little time left for my sport's activities at the moment. But I really enjoy spending time with him (by the way his name is Enej), and I'm also learning valuable lessons from him.

Class introduction

There are 3 boys and 10 girls in our class. We are a very funny and interesting class. Most of the time we learn how to talk and write better. English is our second foreign language (German is our first) and that's why the teacher is really impressed by our knowledge. Our strongest skill is speaking (not only in English, we sometimes cheat and say some words in Slovene;) but we have one student Klemen (he's the first from the left on the pictures) who is really good at it. He can also speak Latin, because he wants to become a priest. When we have to write a story he has the most interesting story ever. He's really good. And the others too, of course;) We study three languages at school: Slovene, English and German. We have some very talented students. One of them is Kornelija (the third from the right). She always helps when something needs to be explained. There is also David. He's the funniest person in the class, you never get bored if you hang out with him. Anja (in the middle with red trousers) always disturbes the lessons because she forgets her books at home, she always talks and when the teacher remindes her it only lasts for a minute. There is also Veronika (the one with red horns). She is very artistic and she's also very funny, we all laugh when she does something. We also have a philosopher in our class. His name is Klemen (the second from the left). He alway has to comment everything, but fortunately he's very smart and he also has problems with being quiet especially now when his voice broke (he probably wants to show everyone that he's already become a man;).

So that's a little something from us. We'll tell more in the following tasks.
