Teacher introduction

Greetings from Slovenia!

My name is Vera Stoilov Spasova and I am an English teacher.

This is the first time my school and I are going to participate in a learning circle, therefore, I hope I will learn a lot and make as few mistakes as possible. I am really excited since I am doing the learning circle with two groups at the same time, one is a group of about 12-year-old pupils and one is a whole class of about 14-year-old pupils. Both groups are eager to start and meet new friends as well as learn a lot about other countries and cultures.

As far as I am concerned, I try to spend as much of my free time as possible with my husband and my lovely daughter Lara who will celebrate her 3rd birthday in May. I am also interested in ICT and foreign languages since I speak 6 languages (some better than others).

Now I think that I have told you enough for the first time.

Students' introductions

Our class is very interesting. There are 7 girls and 13 boys in it. We are in the upper level in English education. We love sports too (football, gymnastics, volleyball, handball, basketball, hockey, sports climbing, dancing, table tennis, hockey, cheerleading, etc.) We like English (that explains the fact that we are in the upper level of English education), we have a great English teacher, we don’t just write down stuff and listen or anything boring as that. Most of the time we even talk more than the teacher does, of course nothing that doesn’t fit in English class :). We do all sorts of things, like projects, conversations, etc. In other words it is the most fun subject in school, I think everyone would agree to that. We are all good friends and never really argue over anything for real, a lot of joking and things like that though. We look forward to doing this project and meeting new friends.
