Teacher introduction

Dear LC participants

My name is Irena Krajnc. I am an English-German teacher at a small school in Spodnja Polskava. It is about 20 km from Maribor, near the Austrian border.

The school’s name is Anton Ingolič, after a well known Slovenian writer who was born in our village.

At our school are 420 pupils and 40 teachers. Actually there are three locations: Sp. Polskava, Zg. Polskava and Pragersko. You can find more about our school here: http://www.os-antona-ingolica.si.

I have been teaching English and German for 20 years. I have taught children, teenagers and adults and like working with all kinds of students. I must say that a lot of things have been changed during the time, specially the use of ICT in classes.

I enjoy in teaching and like doing project work with my students. I am very proud of my students when they present their work to others and when I see that they like doing it too.

 We have already written an application for a Comenius project with some other countries and are waiting for the results, we are preparing for the Spring day in Europe, we have started the Teddy bear project with a school from Russia (iEARN project)…

This is the first time that we are going to participate in learning circles. I am really excited and hope to learn a lot from each other.

I am married and have got two sons (Miha-14years, Mitja-18years). I like listening to music, dancing, cycling, swimming and travelling. I try to spend as much of my free time as possible in the nature, but unfortunately I do not have a lot of it.

Hello everybody!

We are the 8^th class, 13-14 year-old pupils, and are very happy to participate at this project. We like English very much and hope to get some new friends to communicate with them in English.

We would like to introduce ourselves in a few words. 

My name is Matic. I am 14 years old. I train ice-hockey. When I don’t train, I study for school or play computer games. My favourite food is pizza, my favourite colour is blue.

My name is Jernej, but everybody calls me Nejc. My hobbies are playing computer games, watching TV, playing table tennis and swimming. My favourite food is hamburger or pizza. I don’t like vegetables. My favourite school subject is art and the worst one is mathematics.

I’m Rene. My hobbies are playing computer games, watching TV, swimming and basketball. In my free time I walk my dog, play computer games and listen to music. My favourite food is pizza. My favourite school subject is art and the worst one is maths.

My name is Rebeka. My hobbies are volleyball, swimming, dancing and skating.  But in my free time I love to go to the shops, cinema, museum and parties. I like Chinese food, pizza, Mc Donald’s, Burger King…

My name is Jasmina. In my free time I like to go for a walk with my dog Mimi, play computer games, watch TV, dance ballet… My favourite food is: spaghetti, pizza and ice-cream. My favourite school subject is chemistry.

My name is Žan. My hobbies are football, computer games and skiing. I actually train football. I like eating pizza and chicken. I don’t really like vegetarian food. My favourite school subject is history.

My name is Sandi. My hobbies are football, basketball and playing computer games. I like   pizza and hamburger. I don’t like vegetables. My favourite school subject is English.

I’m Aleš.I live in a in a village with my parents. I have got a sister and a brother but they are 10 years older than me and they come home only at the weekend. My hobbies are surfing on the net, snowboarding, dancing, playing poker... In my free time I mostly dance and listen to music. My favourite food is chicken but I don’t like sea food. At school I like all subjects except biology because I think I will not need it so much in my life.
 

My name is Lucija. I really like animals. I have got one at home. I like pizza and chips. My hobbies are watching TV, dancing and shopping. In my free time I also play computer games, go for a walk with my dog and meet my friends.

My name is Maša. Three times a week I play volleyball. I love it. I like skiing very much and swimming, too. My mum's name is Smiljana and my father's name is Bojan. Sometimes I cook. I like spaghetti, salad, pizza, ice-cream, cola and juice. I don't like peas and beans. I hate them. Every morning I go to school with the school bus. My favourite school subject is English. In my free time I read, play computer games and watch TV, too.

My name is Benjamin. I’m a scout. I like playing computer games very much. My favourite food is pizza. My favourite school subject is English.

My name is Klemen. I like playing computer games and the guitar, swimming and riding a bike. I don’t like school and homework. My favourite food is pizza but I don’t like tomatoes. In my free time I play computer games and the guitar a lot. I also like to play with my dog. My favourite school subjects are history and music.

I’m Miha. My hobbies are computer games, watching TV, table tennis and swimming. In my free time I walk my dog, play computer games and listen to music. I like pizza and hamburger, I don’t like vegetables. My favourite school subject is art. I don’t like maths.

My name is Jan. I like playing computer games, play-station and with my dog. My favourite food is pizza. My favourite drink is juice. I have got a big dog named Ben. My favourite school subject is art.

My name is Urška. In my free time I like dancing, playing computer games, horse riding, rollerblading and listening to music. My favourite school subjects are chemistry and English. I like candies, spaghetti, pizza, ice cream…

My name is Iva. My hobbies are twirling and ballet. I like animals very much. In my free time I like reading, playing computer games, watching TV, dancing… My favourite school subject is English. I like eating pizza and McDonald’s food.

My name is Sandra. My favourite hobby is tennis. I like fruit and fast food. I don't like impatient people. I'm very moody and friendly. In my free time I watch TV, play computer games, surf on the internet and listen to music. My favourite school subjects are sport, art and Slovene.

I’m Monika. I like horse riding, going out and meeting new friends. I like doing a lot of things, but I don’t like reading books. We have got many animals at home and I like them very much. My favourite food are eggs and pizza.

My name is Jasmina. My hobbies are Ju-Jitsu, shopping, watching football, skating and many more. I like eating pizza, hamburger… I don't like basketball, hockey… I like watching movies like Step up, Hairspray and others. My favourite school subjects are Slovene and geography.

My name is Ajda. My hobbies are Judo, volleyball, shopping, watching movies, reading books… I don't like basketball. I like eating pizza, hamburger, kebab… But I'm on a diet so I don't eat much. I don't like meat, because I'm an 85% vegetarian. My favourite school subjects are English and geography.

I’m Lucija. I’m interested in tennis, dancing and volleyball. I like swimming, going out and reading interesting books. I’ve got a cat Tačka and a dog Kimi. I love them very much.

My name is Anja Marija, but everybody calls me Anja. I like sports, animals and English.

As you can see we like sports, computer games, watching TV, animals and going out with friends like other teenagers. Our favourite food is fast food. We know it's unhealhty but despite of that we love it. As different we are we like different school subjects but English we like all.
